In life smoke pot if ya want to play NFL ball if ya want to, but rules is rules. You sign a contract to play for a team... a HUGE contract to play for a team... you play or smoke weed and pay 8.6 million. Simple and fair. They traded alot for Ricky and he signed the contract. Ricky should tough it out or pay the money back. Retirement is a cheap way out for Ricky. Barry Sanders is ofcourse a different story...
