I have no idea what the whole story was, but one thing I noticed from the 32nd ranked pass defense is that many a time, we were often in quarters coverage. Quarters works well in high school, but at the NFL level, it's basically handing out first downs like holiday candy.
For as much flak as the CBs caught this year, we actually defended no. 1 WRs pretty well (all things considered) despite some interesting coverage calls. Where we got torched is by 2nd and 3rd recievers and espicially RBs out of the backfield. This says that neither our safeties or linebackers can cover a lick.
Carlos Rogers is fine and our CB problems go no further than injury issues. We need a true MLB though to fix the RB coverage issue.
