Pass defense ratings are always flawed by those crazy attempts. But that 24th against the run figure is also skewed by attempts. I don't think they were the 3rd best defense in the NFL. More like somewhere between 8th and 10th. Still, theres no basis to say it was an abberation (outside of opinion), when they have one of the better secondaries in the NFL.
