Since I met my wife 7 years ago this guy has been arrested at least 25 times for a number of offenses including but not limited to:
1. Distribution of heroin
2. DUI
3. DWI
4. Assult
5. Failure to pay child support
6. and the latest charge, Theft!
My wife got a call this morning from this person and basically this is the story we got:
He got a job in N.O.. He is working for a constuction company rebuilding homes in that area. He had been there all of 2 days when he was arrested for stripping abandoned homes of copper and any other thing that he could make money off of. Of course he calls me asking for 5 grand to help get him out of jail.
F-that!! He can rot in jail for all I care.
Anybody have a similar experience with this? This guy is a total loser and he always has some extravigant excuse why he is in the position he is in.

Some people never learn on their own. It could possibly take a major "What they hell is wrong with you?" confrontation coupled with a "You need to work on your judgement" lecture. Of course, this would have to take place before you hand over some cash.
