Springs is better against the pass right now, but by midseason, Carlos could pass him with a bit more expierence. Carlos is already better vs. the run, not to say that Springs isn't good against the run, Rogers is just among the leagues best. Right up there with Ronde Barber in terms of run support.
Springs is in decline, though. Rogers is a first round pick in his third, and argueably most crucial year. He's got to play. Sure, Springs would be the league's best nickle (and more than capable of starting), but is that a bad thing?
