I still stand by my original thought that I really wouldn't want to live that long unless I could still function like an adult.

Don't feel bad. Death is part of life. It's not like she died from a tragic event -- she just completed her life is all.

I agree though. I would only want to live to be that old if my mind was still sharp. I can sacrifice the body, but if I don't have my mind, then forget about it.
