I've learned this the hard way with prior Windows releases: Wait about 6 months after the release of the new OS before you get it...bugs and flaws are ALWAYS in the first edition for the customers to suffer through and work out. I spent 6 months without the internet to get Windows 95 running smoothly when we preordered it.

I'm happy with XP now (wasn't when it was new though) and am in no mood to go through the guinnea pig phase with MS again. You should wait until at least the first service pack and big update download.

That's just my opinion though.
