All returners can break one from time to time (rock's no exception), but guys like Devin Hester will always return to earth in the manner that Dante Hall did back in 2004.

Our return game is fine and dandy with Rock returning kicks and Randle El returning punts.

Any RB (or receiveing-style FB) can return kicks in my opinion.
100% agree.

With KRer's you want them to get up to the 25-30 yard in the most efficient manner possible, not have them scamper about looking for the window of opportunity in which case they have a greater chance of establishing terrible field position. Running backs are built to carry the ball straight ahead and break a tackle or two.
PRer's have a better situation of already having established decent field position by virtue of the probability that the line of scrimmage is farther back than the Kick-off line of scrimmage. They can try to get away with more because the marginal loss isn't as great as it is with kick-offs.

In short, I like Rock being back there and I didn't mind it when Betts did it either. Also, I think Randle El is going to take a couple or three punts to the house in 2007.
