Babel is a clone of Crash? Why isn't crash a clone of 21 grams, which came first? Or Amorres Peres which came before that? Alejandro Inarritu does that type of film making better than anyone.

Paul Haggis did not invent the epic ensemble piece. He just schmaltzed the formula up and made a bathetic little flick for morons who want to feel like they are more intelligent for asking themselves deep questions about race, when in fact they had become even dumber as a result of watching that facile movie, if that's possible.

Babel on the other hand is the real deal.
