Bust maybe a bit strong, but Armstead was OK on a bad defense. So it is relative. Armstead is not quick and explosive enough to be a top weak side linebacker. He was a few years ago, but he is to old and it was time for the team to go in a new direction. Plus Lavar's talents were being waisted at SLB. Lavar should be a monster at WLB.

Regarding Barrow's injury and the MLB position:
I hope we do not end up having to move Lavar to middle LB until Barrow heals. Mitchell might have been cut too early. I do not like the idea of playing Antonio Pierce or Khary Campbell at MLB. Mitchell was the logical back up until Barrow comes back.
