Also, there are certain levels where vitamins can become toxic in your system and that certainly CAN cause problems. I remember when we were learning about fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K that there is a chance that they could become toxic and I believe ODing on A can kill you. It would have to be huge amounts over DRI, however, it's possible...that and Vitamin C doesn't help you get rid of a cold.
