NFC East:
Eagles (12-4): Every year I pick them to crash and they don't so maybe if I don't the opposite will happen
Redskins (11-5): Joe Gibbs. Enough said
Cowboys: (8-8): Great defense, but they have no skill players offensively that scare me
Giants (4-12): Should have kept Rivers and their first rounder next year
NFC North:
Packers (11-5): As long as Tim Couch isn't asked to step on the field. Might not even make the team anyway
Vikings (10-6): Off to a bit of an ominous start with Bennett's injury and Smith's suspension
Lions (6-10): Do or Die for Harrington. He's got a great offensive line and some exciting receivers
Bears (6-10): Thomas Jones is not the answer at RB
NFC South:
Saints (10-6): That's right the Saints!
Panthers (8-8): I think it will be like two years ago where they lost most of their close games
Falcons (5-11): Hall's injury kills an already weak pass defense. And I don't like Peerless as a no. 1 WR
Bucs (4-12): Gruden's show without a doubt now. Seems to be building for the future. Simms starts by midseason
NFC West:
Seahawks (13-3): Have no obvious weaknesses
Rams (9-7): I'm just not all that impressed with the defense. I see a lot of 35-34 games
Cardinals (6-10): Losing Boldin hurts but I'm anxious to see what Dennis Green does with McCown
49ers (1-15): It's all on Barlow but the team will be playing from behind more often than not
AFC East:
Patriots (12-4): Anxious to see how having a real back impacts the team
Jets (9-7): Nice move picking up McCareins
Dolphins (8-8): Fiedler might not be impressive but he wins. Why trade a 2nd round pick for Feeley? Don't get it
Bills (5-11): I'm guessing Bledsoe is done after this year
AFC North:
Ravens (10-6): It's all about Lewis and Lewis
Bengals (8-8): Defense is still weak. And Palmer over Kitna could pay off in the long run, not this year
Browns (7-9): Suggs and Green is a fierce backfield combo, but how long will Garcia's back hold up?
Steelers (5-11): Roethlisberger will be starting by midseason, if not sooner
AFC South:
Colts (13-3): James and Harrison will be motivated with the lure of new contracts
Jaguars (10-6): Great defense, rising star in Leftwich. I like Reggie Williams and Fred Taylor is underrated.
Titans (9-7): Pains me to say it because their my second favorite NFL team but I think they miss the playoffs
Texans (6-10): In a tough division, but I think they're making good strides. Especially David Carr
AFC West:
Chiefs (14-2): The receivers are awful but so what. Now, if Priest gets hurt....
Raiders (10-6): Collins should be starting, not Gannon
Chargers (8-8): You heard it here first, LT has an unprecedented year, 2,000 yds. rushing, 1,000 receiving
Broncos (5-11): Not a fan of Plummer at all
NFC Championship: Redskins over Seahawks
AFC Championship: Chiefs over Ravens
Super Bowl: Skins over Chiefs-hey, I can dream can't I
