Totally ridiculous. To find a country that outlaws prostitution go to the Islamic countries...or the United States. (I know, I know, except parts of Nevada.) Everywhere else it's
Prostitution is legal, solicitation is illegal.
My wife (who's from Mexico) wonders how guys can stand it here.
On a related note, I find it really frustrating that a thong is completely verboten on TV but murder and violence are promoted. I have 5 and 6 year-old boys (as well as a 7 month-old girl) and I'd like them to get to know and enjoy football. But every friggin' time there's a commercial I have to be ready to jump up because they're promoting a horror movie or there's murder, guns, and mayhem everywhere on the screen. Why can't they do something innocent like put on a Brazilian game show? ;-) I'd much rather have that, (which really doesn't bother us at all) than have the kids afraid to go to bed.
Other parents thoughts?

I think that between the violence, viagra, and GoDaddy.com commercials the media has covered all the bases. Kinda like an episode of SouthPark, they are going to make sure they offend someone at some point.
It's kinda bad when my 8 year old knows all about erectile disfunction.
