The easy way is just copy and pasting the URL in your post.
Another way is to select the Insert Link icon (earth+chain link) and inserting the URL there. For example, when I created a post I typed
Redskins sign Todd Wade and highlighted that phrase then I clicked on the Insert Link icon and pasted the address of the article in the URL field.
