Well Malcolm I would actually disagree. The yankees have folks on a banwagon definitely but in my travels I have been VILLIFIED for being a Duke fan. It really pisses me off sometimes because sometimes folks will question me being a Duke fan because I'm black. I really rip guys a new one because of that. Back to my point, it's seems to me that it's more people that hop on the Anti-Duke bandwagon more so than anything else. I became a Duke fan by accident and I have been one since the thrashing by UNLV !
I can sympathize with the kid crying though. To him sports is EVERYTHING, and his favorite team lost that day. I cried a couple times as a kid when the Skins lost, never when Duke lost but the Skins yeah. The dad is probably pissed because he knows all the guys at work would say they saw him and his kid at the game, he'd be on SportsCenter holding the crying little boy.
