My preseason tickets would be on EBay ten minutes after I got them in the mail. Clearly I'm not going to spend that kind of money if they don't care if they win the game.

It does suck to have to buy the pre-season tickets at all but I would look at it like the price for everything was the price for the 8 games that matter. The other extra games are just sorta there. I am on the waiting list also but I just get scalped tickets to most games. If you do it right you can get tickets at face value or cheaper and never worry about the crap exhibitions.
