If this was happening to the Redskins-young, all-pro linebacker threatens to hold out because the front office won't pay him-fans would be calling for heads to roll. People are throwing up a storm over Dockery, imagine what it would be like for someone of Briggs' caliber. But since it's not the Redskins, but the Bears there's no talk of "why don't the Bears just give Briggs the money he's asking for"
