Right now, I'm really into Sam Cooke.
I like too much hip hop to say who my favorite is, but my favorite albums almost always seem to be the first from many artists. Common - Resurrection, Nas - Illmatic, Blackalicious - Nia, Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers, etc.
One of my favorite bands is The Black Keys. I love all of their stuff, and they are incredible live! I highly recommend them to everyone.
