Yeah, but when one philosophy has never, ever worked even once before, isn't it then a right/wrong deal until further notice.

I'd admit a bias here: I can not fathom how an offense would be built around a WR at the center of it. The way offense works today, even the best WRs are small parts of the offense. I suppose theres no reason to assume building an offense starting from the outside in is possible, but its just unpredicented so far.

I don't know how it could work. If such a player did exist who was so phyisically dominant that he could get the ball on every play and not lose effectiveness, it would completely flip the game on it's side. But I don't know if this type of player does or will ever exist. It's currently unfathomable the way the game is played.

The Cardinals have invested so much into their offense, but because they tried to build outside in, they still ranked 31st in DVOA this year. They could have invested a lot less into their offense, more into their defense, and produced more offensive production if they built from the inside out, IMO.
