I don't think anyone is actually upset that Landry is going to be next to Taylor. I don't think anyone wants the guy to be a bust. I think everyone wants Landry to be a Pro Bowler and will root for him. BUT, I think there are a lot of people who question the emphasis on the secondary at the expense of the D-line. I think that's a reasonable view.

Can I keep a plate of crow pie for those who think our D-line didn't need an upgrade via the 6th pick?

I think the d-line needs help but with none of the guys available really being top ten $ worthy in a lot of people's opinion, I'm glad the front office went with the more sure fire pick instead of running the risk of tieing a huge contract to a player whose position puts out some of the biggest 1st round busts. The team probably has their eye on a few potential cap cuts and their are a couple others already out on the market whose asking prices are dropping each day it gets closer to the start of the season.
