If this policy keeps a handful of key guys happy, I think it was a good choice.

I think the bigger part of this is moving up the start of training camp, and having a more intense camp as a result. I'm sure the coaches made it clear that if they let these guys do their own thing in the offseason, they sure as hell better be ready to work their asses off in July and August.
Yeah, I don't see how the move can hurt, really. And it keeps some guys happier, so they'll appreciate Gibbs more. Which may help team chemistry and stuff.

But in the end, I think there are other factors that are going to have a much bigger impact on our 2007 performance.
