The media suspected he was still feeling the effects of a virus that he had earlier in the week. The Skins obviously did not release the info to the media before hand, so they stated the most common sense answer they could think of at the time. We now know otherwise.

ALL players miss a meeting at some point in their career, and they all get punished for it (unless they have an acceptable excuse, of course). Taylor should not be the exception to the rule. He didn't get fined (that we know of) or suspended. Just a simple slap that will wake him up a bit. Young players need this every now and then.

Taylor is the starter, not Lott, and I fully expect to see him ball-hawking with the first team next Sunday.
