Absolutly! Regardles of what Lindsey may or may not have done, it is up to Williams to make the evaluation overall on defense, subordinates are there to serve the higharchy, letting them do their job and letting them make the final evaluation are two different things. They prepare a player for the NFL the coach deceids if he is ready to play, and the only way a coach would really know is by watching that player which I have to assume Williams does, you cannot follow an assistant blindly just based on his word.
As far as Rocky is concerned from what I saw of him he looked like a real good LB. He seemed to be able to disengauge from blockers instantly, I didn't really see anyone lock on to him, he also looked like he has the ability to get to the QB, hopefully he's up to speed with the rest of the defense which I think he has to be at this point.
