Because #5 is too high for this year's crop of DL's. Only Udeze and Harris are estimated to be valued at a 6-10 pick and a few others - Wilfork, Starks, Smith - in the latter half of the first round.
Bottom Line: It's just not worth it value-wise. If we trade down a bit, then it would make sense.
Other than Udeze and Wilfork - I don't see any DL in the draft that is going to be a "difference maker" sure-bet. I'm definitely not sold on Harris...
