I watched the Philly-NY game and Westbrook broke loose a couple of times. I look for Portis to be even better this week, no doubt that Bugel took it hard that his guys weren't giving Portis much room to run after his big gain. So here's how I'd gameplan.
1) Run Clinton Run. There will only be more holes from here on out. With Gibbs and Bugel out of the game so long, TB was a great way for them to get inundated with what's changed. The offense will get better and they will run the ball more effectively. I look for at least two more Portis tds.
2) Pressure. You know its coming, I know its coming and the Giants know its coming. But as long as Kurt Warner is under center we've got to put people in his face. Hit him a couple of times and he'll either fumble or throw a pick.
3) Where's Sean? I don't like seeing the talented rookie on the sideline, but if he channels his aggression on to the field (ala LaVar in the USA today article) then he should be at his playmaking best. If he gets on the field, he will make a play.
4) Wideouts anyone? The passing game is coming around slowly and Rod Gardner is still catch one, drop one. The cover 2 employed by the Bucs may have shackled us a little, but I see Coles and Thrash having big games.
