If McIntosh is doing as well as they say AND it looks like Briggs may be cut - Why trade at all. Stand pat, develop Rocky, sign Cooley and, if he becomes available as a UFA and there is money left over -then, and only then, sign Briggs. Next year use the fourth on someone we can develop.

I would give a seventh or MAYBE a sixth for him.

We don't need him and we don't need the extra financial constraints signing him to a big contract would cause.
