Re: Do you think Casey Bramlet has a chance to make #3 QB

The throw Bramlet made for the game winning TD was easily a pro-bowl throw. I'm not exaggerating at all either.

The defender was draped ALL OVER the WR. The WR didn't even have a half step on the guy, let alone a full step. Bramlet launched the thing from his own 45 and it dropped over his WR's outside shoulder at the 3 yard line, landing in the ONLY spot where the WR could catch it and the DB couldn't.

When a defender is draped all over a WR like that, there's only one place you can put the ball, and that's in the place where the WR can use his body as a shield. Bramlet managed to do that from 53 yards away, for a game winner.

Now before I get all carried away, it's NFL Europe, and it by no means indicates he's ready to play in the NFL. But I don't care about Todd Collins and his knowledge of the system and experience and all that crap. For the #3 QB spot, we need to keep this kid around. He's got what it takes.

If for no other reason, we've got to find a way to keep him so he doesn't wind up playing for someone else (especially Dallas, NYG, or Philly).
