The defender was draped ALL OVER the WR. The WR didn't even have a half step on the guy, let alone a full step. Bramlet launched the thing from his own 45 and it dropped over his WR's outside shoulder at the 3 yard line, landing in the ONLY spot where the WR could catch it and the DB couldn't.
When a defender is draped all over a WR like that, there's only one place you can put the ball, and that's in the place where the WR can use his body as a shield. Bramlet managed to do that from 53 yards away, for a game winner.
Now before I get all carried away, it's NFL Europe, and it by no means indicates he's ready to play in the NFL. But I don't care about Todd Collins and his knowledge of the system and experience and all that crap. For the #3 QB spot, we need to keep this kid around. He's got what it takes.
If for no other reason, we've got to find a way to keep him so he doesn't wind up playing for someone else (especially Dallas, NYG, or Philly).

Im so glad someone else say that play and realized what it was. It was the the biggest and best CLUTCH play i have seen in some time. Granted, the WR made a good catch but, jesus that was a wonderfully thrown ball. If they have a pro-bowl for NFLE, he should certainly go and start. Bramlet has a bright future in this leaugue if you ask me. Let him watch closely the next couple years and let him work his way up to #2. Screw Todd Collins. Last time I say him play, he passed the ball to a defensive lineman. I frickin hate the guy. Bramlet rules. Kepp him here and dont let him to to any of our NFC East rivals and were in good shape.
ALL HAIL BRAMLET!!!
WORLD BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!
