I hate all this Mac VS Windows VS Linux Stuff.
They all have their good and bad points.
Macs are reliable and very stable. I know some hard core software guys( they actually work for HP
), They love the mac OS.
Macs have alot of substance and style!
You've spent your money on a good machine.
FYI, I've installed a few ubuntu servers and desktops.
I actually dual boot on my laptop.
The one thing that gets me with linux is that I have to tweak every freakin thing. Sometimes I just want the simplicity of windows or a Mac. Ubuntu is close, but still not there.
