Yeah, but even adequate pass rushers are necessary when the secondary suffers crushing injuries like we saw last year with Springs. You still need guys up front who can generate
some pressure in case the secondary falters. We didn't have that in 2006 and hence, we set the NFL record for fewest number of sacks in a non-strike season.
(cue the 'sacks don't mean everything crowd'...)
