I like non-fiction books myself. History books in particular.

I must confess I have yet to read Harry Potter (keep meaning to though), but you're the first person who I've ever heard say they started reading the book and didn't like it. Everyone else raves about it.

I saw the first HP movie and thought it was fun, but nothing great. I really enjoyed Prisoner of Azkaban though. And, from what I understand, the movies don't do the books justice
