13 is not a little kid. It is young but 13 years is enough time for parents to teach right or wrong. In the state of GA if he was there, he would be charged as an adult no questions asked. He is charged with 1st degree murder, which carries the life in jail penalty. And I have read nowhere that he is remorseful for what he did. He just told the cops "I just stabbed my brother." WTF!!! Life in jail is fitting for this act of violence. We need to stop looking at age a such a big factor. That is a huge problem in the US. We want to change the meaning of age so much.
We really need to sit down as a country and determine "how old is 13 really?"
