Believe you me (as my mother would say), they won't just let Vick and his team of attorneys motion this into eternity.

While PETA (who I am no fan of) has a level of influence and pressure they can put on the prosecutors office, they (as my best friend's mother would say) have no nickel in this dime. The prosecutor and judge, who are appointed and not elected, have no allegiance or responsibility to cowtow to any special interest groups.
