If he hasn't been convicted of a crime yet and he doesn't have a track record of run-ins with the law (not talking about a TSA screener jumping the gun over a suspicious looking water bottle), I don't see the league suspending him. That doesn't mean the team won't make the decision (mutually of course) for him to sit out while this runs it's course in order to limit distractions for the betterment of the team. If he's found guilty whenever this goes to trial, I hope they throw the book at him, and as many others have said on here already, a football suspension will be the least of his worries.

Understandable, and I agree with you.
He will be found guilty. I doubt they would spend this much time and effort going after a dead end.
