2nd best confrence in the NCAA. Year after year they bring in the big recruits: i.e. Joe McKnight, DeSean Jackson. The coaches in this confrence have surpassed the ACC. (No disrespect to Bobby Bowden)

The Big Ten, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin
The BIg Ten is at neck and neck with the SEC. Michigan is a big name powerhouse and Wisconsin is not that far behind them. Ohio State lost alot of its players but they are still a solid team plus they have alot of teams after them that arent slouches either.

And of course The SEC
If this was 2 years ago I would have agreed with you but the fact remains that Miami, V-Tech, and Florida State have drastically fallen off, I mean the 2006 confrence winner was Wake Forest.

The PAC 10 only had 2 teams still in the top 25 at the end of last season. Furthermore there are only 2 teams in the PAC 10 worth a damn.
The BIG 10 Finished last season with 3 in the top 25, just like the ACC. ACC teams participated in more Bowls 8.
The other fact that I would liketo point out is that in the ACC just like the SEC is you never know who is going to finish on top. That is why it is a good confrence. Just about any team is capable of winning it at any time, unlike the rest of the confrences out there. You always know who the top contenders are in the Big 10, 12 and PAC 10. There is no one to challenge them.
