For those of you that are saying it is a money thing, there are 5 non- starters that count more against the cap than Marshall's $1.1M

1) Mark Brunnell $3.5M cap hit this year
2) Brandon Lloyd $2.4M " "
3) Fred Smoot $2.1M"
4) Todd Collins $1.4M
5) Ladell Betts $1.3M

We have $4M in cap space tied up in our two back up QB's and we can not afford $1.1M for a starting caliber LB and valuable back up.
THIS IS A STUPID MOVE.
There is something behind the scenes we do not yet know about. Coach Williams and Marshall must be fighting.
