CNNSI is reporting either a 2008 5th rounder or a 2009 4th rounder, presumably based on playing time, but they could very well be wrong. If that is the deal, barring injury, it would appear that the 2009 4th rounder would be the most likely outcome. By the way, Kendall apparently was signed through 2009 by the Jets (with base salaries of $2 million for 2008 and $2.393 million for 2009;
ESPN.com). Anyone know how the Redskins dealt with the contract? Adam Schefter reports a 2-year contract (is that an extension, or was the old Jets contract just voided out?). Just curious, but all the details probably aren't out there yet. At this point, I like the move, probably the best option they had and a 4th rounder two years out doesn't seem so bad to me (at least in 2007 it doesn't).
