They drafted Bell with that pick they got from Washington, and now they traded Bell to Detriot for Dre Bly. Another RB for a CB. So esstentially Denver got a second round pick that ultimitely netted them another pro-bowl CB. They got a pretty good backfield out of the deal.
And, I must say, a backfield that will be there for more than 4 years.

Yes, I am saying that. You don't have to look outside of our orginization to see that great CB's are extremely hard to come by, and good ones are hard to find too. RB's are often a product of their line (see Denver for the past decade). Look at Emmitt Smith, there is no way in hell he was ever as good as Payton, or Sanders, or LT, and most everyone in the top 10 in rushing, but he has the most yards ever...why? O-LINE!
Denver has been very intelligent the way they have let their RB stars go! WHy not when you can always find someone to duplicate his numbers?
