I think Le Varr belonged on the field with his teammates, not up in the owner's box. It sends the wrong message to the team - that Le Varr is somehow one of the owner's favorites and deserving of special treatment.

I remember the same things being done for Deion, when he was here. There were reports that Snyder flew him on his personal jet and other similar stories.

The team can only be successful if all players consider themselves equally important to the team's success. Coaches and the owner cannot show favoritism or you risk destroying the subtle chemistry that makes a team a champion.

I love Le Varr as a player, but sometimes I think he values himself way too much. He said on the John Thompson show on Monday that he believes, had he played, that he would have been the difference. He might well be right, but that's not something you boast about in public.
