Why would he say that? I mean, really, what would be the point? I have ran through the possibilities in my head, and have not come up with a positive one.
It could be said that it undermines the great game by the Skins, and by saying they quit, it wasn't us that won, it was them that quit. That's not a very positive outlook.
Also, are you calling the Lions quitters? And if so, what is the point of that? To piss them off for later...or maybe show the entire NFL that we will call you to the table if we think you dogged it a little? That will just make other teams work harder.
