Be honest, based solely on this year's performance: On third and 6, who do you trust to catch the crossing pattern, Randle El or Moss? So far, it's been #82.

It's really hard to argue Moss on this because of his dropped passes. But those are not typical of Moss in the past. I think he's trying to make too much happen and he's getting ahead of himself. He will be there when we need him. We can't throw Moss under the bus because of a couple games, he's been as good as any top wr in the game when he plays. Overall, to me, he's a top 5 talent. ARE is not. Not saying ARE sucks or anything, but there was a reason he was 3rd WR last year and had to fight a horrible Lloyd this year just to get 2nd. Sure he's been good for us, and he's been fairly clutch for us as well (usually in the absence of Moss), but that does not mean he's Moss talent. I do completely understand your points, and they are valid, but to answer your question, I would want Moss catching that pass. You want the ball in your best players hands as often as possible. That's why I want Portis rushing instead of Betts, and why I wanted Campbell instead of Brunell, and why I want Moss over ARE. ARE is a great compliment to Moss, but Moss is still the man.
