Maybe because I am in the local area I hear more of the stories about how Portis does not work hard on the practice field. I am just getting tired of hearing about it while his playing sucks.

Do you really think his "terrible play" is attributed to him not practicing 2 days in a row until recently or perhaps 2/5 of the starting offensive line being injured and another 2/5 have all of 8 weeks next to each other?
If Betts were tearing it up behind the same offensive line with the same play calling I would see it a little bit more, but our running game is piss-poor as a whole, I don't get why Portis draws so much of your venom.
