Re: Who is "weakest" team with winning record?
Personally, I believe I've moved on from being unimpressed to acceptance that this is the team we've got. Take away the Patriots and the Colts, and to a lesser degree the Cowchips and the Packers, and the 28 remaining teams are completely up in the air. Apart from the clubs at the very top, any of the other teams are as vulnerable or as dominant as they feel like being from week to week.
My beef isn't necessarily with the players we have now, because they are what they are, and due to ass-kicking we've been taking in the injury department, there's only so far this team is going to go. And for the most part, the players are giving us the best they're capable of -- the obvious exceptions are Santana Moss, and up until yesterday, Clinton Portis. Those are guys who need to step the hell up.
Now, a separate argument is what this front office has done to prepare for injuries, and the track record they've had over four years to right this ship. Is it legitimate to complain that we aren't in that top tier of the league? I think so. That's where my hate is directed.
