Ramsey also had a big game in the exhibtion season this year. Did I mention that Ramsey's twenty two games (or equivlent of) were uncannily similar to the first twenty two games of John Elway. Hmmm. And, as I remember, both were hailed as future stars-- until Gibbs showed up with Brunell and so called Redskin fans started kissing the old man's butt by coming down on Ramsey, even after he took over for Brunell and jerked our offense from oblivion.

The permanent replacing of Ramsey in the first game of the season after a successful quarter will be long remembered as the defining moment of Gibbs' failure as a returning hero. That moment said it all. The loss of judgment, the inability to adjust, the breakdown of principle, the loss of the players' trust, etc.
