And that is completely untrue, because Snyder hasn't hired any young guys as a head coach for this team. He has hired Marty Schottenheimer (old guy), Steve Spurrier (not as old but not young nor proven in the NFL,) and Joe Gibbs (old guy.) Norv Turner had already been in Washington for about seven seasons and produced one good season for us. As for Steve Spurrier, he resigned after two seasons. The only guy (and I feel Turner doesn't count at this point,) that Snyder didn't have the patience for was Marty Schottenheimer.
Secondly, who's to say that Gibbs isn't hungry to win now? Just because he has been at the top of the NFL in the past, doesn't mean he can't ever have the fire to coach this team back to the top. If JG didn't have that fire and determination, he would've never gotten back into coaching. Please don't say, "it was all because of the money." Please, Joe Gibbs could've sat back with his Nascar team and made enough money for ten lifetimes.
