For what it's worth, he didn't call TO to think about kicking. He was going to kick once we didn't get the first down. But the personnel were not on the field, and the play clock ran down. Could have taken a penalty, I guess. But that's not seen as a great idea, usually, and Shuish did miss a PAT.
The other TOs were by JC and on a reasonable challenge of the Betts fumble. That was not the difference maker today, IMO, and I'm surprised at the play it's getting.
Cooley's false start. Westbrook's romping on our Taylor-less secondary. And the pathetic goal line series. That was why we lost. It would have been nice to have the TOs, don't get me wrong. But lots more went wrong than that.
