Yes and no. Really pathetic people? I wouldn't go that far. This guy is obviously a very intelligent grad student, and is only 25 years old. We know nothing about him other than he's a die hard Skins fan who's over-zealous and over-analytical. As far as his feelings about the skins, I agree with him. But I can put things in perspective. I love my team, and when they lose I'm definitely bummed out for a few hours on Sunday. But it doesn't carry over to my love life, my job, or my relationships with other people.
Another thing to consider is this guy wrote this thing on either Sunday or Monday, with the sting of the loss fresh in his head. I think calling him really pathetic is a bit of a stretch. Who on this site hasn't felt absolutely awful, whether it be for days or just hours, about the Redskins struggles over the years??
