But, we do not currently have playoff caliber talent on this team right now. Campbell will get there, but this is essentially still his first season, Portis is past his prime and not a good fit for our offense, or WRs are awful, our OL is playing with a backup RG & RT (an undrafted FA). On defense, our DL scares no one, Washington has been hurt, Fletcher is an All-Pro level player, our corners are average at best, Landry is a rookie and Taylor is out. Poor execution has nothing to do with coaching, that is on the players.

Are Greg Williams and Al Saunders good coordinators, I don't think so. Have the poor personnel decisions been their fault, yes. Lloyd and Randle El were hand picked by Saunders and Archuletta was hand-picked by GW. Gibbs isn't going to throw those guys under the bus, but I've said in other posts, after the season, Gibbs needs to go into the front office as the GM with complete control and a new coach needs to be brought in.

Is Russ Grimm the answer at Head Coach, I don't know. Arizona isn't blowing the doors of the offensive stat categories and Pittsburgh didn't last year either.
