I know football is a petty thing to be thinking about but this is a situation that can bring this team together and give us something to be proud of. Maybe not winning a bunch of games but playing their guts out and putting forth the prideful effort, an undying commtment to honoring our fallen hero is what this calls for. I know that there is no coach I would rather be in charge at this point. No one even close. Maybe Matty is right. Maybe God's plan for this team and its fans was for Gibbs to lead us through adversity never imagined. Well here we are. I don't like it but we're about to go on a ride that none of us ever wanted to. In the end though something good can come from this.

I agree with you and Matty. I can't think of anybody else better suited for this situation than Joe Gibbs. I seem to remember someone having a quote from Gibbs in their sig that said, "We are on a mission from God." No truer words may have been spoken.
