For me I have tried to stop thinking about the years we will miss seeing him as a great player and think about the years we did get to see. I try not to think about the how much he will be missed on the team I love, but think about all the things he did do in the time he had.

Having said that, the single most biggest thing that can lead to closure in this case is finding those who committed the crime and find some kinda reason behind it.
